Bas Dorlandt
FOUNDER & OWNER
Bas Dorlandt is the owner of Home of Yoga. Bas has worked as a professional dancer and choreographer for many years, both in The Netherlands and abroad. In 2004, he took his first yoga class and since then, yoga has been an indispensable part of his life. After obtaining his teaching diploma in Los Angeles in 2013, he has been a full-time teacher of bikram yoga, hatha and vinyasa krama yoga and has taught in Utrecht, Amsterdam, LA, San Francisco and Warsaw. Starting his own yoga school in 2017 taught him how wonderful it is to make others happier. He is therefore very committed to spreading the yoga further in Den Bosch and the rest of the world.

Andriëtte Dobbelsteen
YOGA TEACHER
Andriette was immediately sold on Hot Yoga after taking her first lessons at Home of Yoga. After having always practiced a wide variety of sports, everything came together for her here: movement, flexibility, strength and relaxation all came together. With a busy life as an entrepreneur and a family, this is the place where she can come to herself. This change since then is very noticeable for her, both physically and mentally. When a teacher training in Portugal came her way, the choice was quickly made. Andriette sees this as a gift. A gift that she would also like to pass on to others!

Birgitta Jansen
YOGA TEACHER
From a young age, Birgitta was a regular at the ballet school and in the theatre. First as a student, later as a teacher. As a result, ‘continuing to learn for yourself’ faded into the background. Until a participant from her BodyBalance class took Birgitta to a Bikram yoga class (with Bas!). How could such an intense, hot and repetitive series of postures feel so great? Via Bikram, Tapasya yoga also came her way. Clarity, fun and the focus on what is possible instead of what is not (yet) possible: that is what you can expect in a class with Birgitta.

Petros Lympertas
YOGA & PILATES TEACHER
Petros discovered yoga 20 years ago on a small Greek island and since then he fell in love with yoga and he hasn’t stop practicing since. In 2011 he moved to the Netherlands and he followed different teacher trainings as Vinyasa Flow, Hot Hatha, Restorative Yoga and Pilates. Petros classes are playful and fun as he is trying to take you away from the stress of the daily routine and make you feel relaxed and refreshed. He welcomes people of all ages, shapes and physical abilities. His concept is that yoga is all about inner peace and stability and will make you feel at ease. He will encourage you along the way during your yoga practice to help you keep growing and to recharge your body and spirit.

Ivaylo Stoychev
YOGA & PILATES TEACHER
In 2017, Ivaylo took his first yoga class and he hasn’t stopped since!
Before moving to the Netherlands, he started his yoga journey in the UK where he lived for 10 years. Before moving to the UK, Ivaylo also worked as a professional dancer in Bulgaria for over 10 years. Yoga allowed him to discover a side of himself that he never knew existed. He became a dedicated practitioner and soon after a teacher. All the amazing benefits of any form of yoga or pilates had incredible healing effects on him, both mentally and physically. Sharing this magic is why he became a teacher.
Ivaylo’s goal for everyone who attends his class is to feel better, happier and stronger! -
Fleur de Otter
PILATES TEACHER
Four years ago, Fleur started her journey into the world of Pilates. She was inspired by the authentic, classical Romana’s Pilates method and decided to follow the intensive training to become a classical Pilates instructor in The Hague. After successfully completing her studies, she passionately started working at The Pilates Studio, where she also trained herself. Here she guides personal one-on-one sessions with dedication and helps her clients achieve their physical goals.

She began practicing Bikram yoga in 1998. She has worked with elite athletes, troubled teens, and the elderly. Sherie believes yoga is for everyone as a method of liberation from suffering. Jitske Steenaart
YOGA TEACHER
Since her first Bikram Yoga class in 2012, Jitske has always returned to this yoga in the hot room. There she learned that yoga is not so much about the postures, but about your posture. Observing yourself with curiosity and without judgement. In 2019 she decided to deepen her yoga path and followed the Teacher Training in the US. Since then she has been teaching and lovingly passing on the passion for Bikram Yoga to others. In her classes, Jitske wants to create space to observe yourself without judgement and with curiosity.
